Job summary

S.N.G HEALTHCARE LIMITED is seeking a Senior Support Worker for a Children's Residential Home in Wrexham. You will deliver safe, person-centred care and support day-to-day operations to help young people thrive.

The role requires experience in residential childcare, safeguarding knowledge and a full UK driving licence. The position offers a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) with a 2 on, 4 off rota and sleep-in shifts.

Qualifications

• A positive, caring and compassionate approach to delivering high-quality childcare.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A motivated, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Children and Young People’s Workforce or Residential Childcare is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Previous experience working within a Children's Residential Home or similar residential childcare setting.
• Experience supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
• Ability to complete accurate records, care plans and incident reports.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
