Job summary

Keys Group in Brecon, Powys is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a team and oversee daily care for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining care plans and reporting requirements, and liaising with health professionals and families.

46.5 hours per week SHIFT PATTERNS:
8.30AM-9PM and 9PM-
8.30AM if required.

About Bryn Awel: We provide residential support for 7 adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Managing a team of Support Workers
• Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
• Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
• Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
• Liaise with health professionals and their families
• Complete supervisions and audits
• To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
