Job summary

Cygnet Group seeks a Senior Support Worker to work days and nights at Dean Grange and Milestones in the UK. The role focuses on supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in person-centred care.

You will help lead teams, allocate duties, and provide emotional and physical support to individuals, ensuring safety and a clean environment. DBS check is required.

We are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker, to work days and nights at Cygnet Dean Grange and Milestones.

Dean Grange is situated in Broadoak, Newnham. We support people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge. Milestones is a specialist residential service in Cinderford. We support people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.

The people we support are encouraged and enabled to lead full and happy lives. They are supported to have more choice and control in their lives. Their strengths, abilities, and preferences are identified so that the care provided can be as person-centred and meaningful to each individual as possible.

Your day-to-day…

• Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
• Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required

• Maintain a safe & clean environment for all
