Job summary

Essential Care and Support Limited, part of National Care Group, is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Trimdon. The role focuses on assessing support needs, developing improvements, and leading a team to deliver person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities and other needs.

You will work 40 hours per week, earn £13.05 per hour (£27,144 yearly), and benefit from paid training and internal progression. A UK driving licence is required to access clients across the service area.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
• Support adults with learning disabilities.
• Able to motivate and manage a team.
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

The Senior Support Worker Role

Asa Senior Support Workeryour role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and workwith people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.

The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.
