At Turning Point, we support people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Autism across England.
We are recruiting a Senior Support Worker for a brand-new service in Sandwich supporting adults with diagnosis in Autism, Mental Health and learning disabilities to move into the community.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will make a real difference to people’s lives. If you are passionate about supporting people, you will enjoy the scope of this role which includes line management duties alongside supporting individuals, while enhancing your own career through experience and training.
The Senior Support Worker supports the management team in supervising the Support Worker team, ensuring new staff are effectively inducted and operating as competent employees. You will inspire and lead a team to provide high-quality support and achieve positive outcomes.
You will also act as the senior person on duty, modeling good practice to ensure high-quality service delivery.
This role is hands-on; you will support individuals with daily activities such as mental health appointments, community participation, home & tenancy management, medical needs, and daily living tasks.
You will have Support Worker experience within a Learning Disability, Autism, or Mental Health setting.
