A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a recently opened nursing home in Liverpool, Merseyside. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This nursing home offers nursing, dementia, residential care, mental healthcare, and specialist learning disability services to its residents.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Key Duties:
  1. Recognize and facilitate the daily needs of residents
  2. Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
  3. Contribute to care planning and support coaching
  4. Promote services when dealing with relatives, prospective residents, and inquiries
  5. Update and write care plans and resident documentation
  6. Make and report realistic assessments of residents for continuity of care
  7. Administer medication according to policies and procedures
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in a care setting
  • Good team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Genuine desire to care for others
Benefits:
  • Salary of GBP 13.25 per hour, totaling GBP 24,804 annually
