A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a recently opened nursing home in Liverpool, Merseyside. The facility offers nursing, dementia, residential care, mental healthcare, and specialist learning disability services.

Minimum requirement: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Key Duties of a Senior Support Worker
  1. Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
  2. Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
  3. Contribute to care planning and support coaching staff.
  4. Promote services when engaging with relatives, prospective residents, and inquiries.
  5. Update and write care plans and resident documentation.
  6. Assess and report on residents' needs to ensure continuity of care.
  7. Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in a care setting.
  • Good team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Genuine desire to care for others.
Benefits

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of GBP13.25, totaling approximately GBP24,804 annually. This is a permanent full-time role (36 hours/week) working day shifts. Benefits include:
