Job summary

Voyage Care Ltd in Dover is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service and help people gain independence.

You will supervise day-to-day operations, allocate shifts, induct new staff, assist with training, and support service users with finances and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience supporting individuals with enhanced needs and mental health conditions.

About the Role

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service in Dover. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Responsibilities

• Helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives

• Ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
