At Prosperity Care & Wellbeing, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centred health and social care. We support adults with complex needs to live empowered, meaningful lives - and we invest just as deeply in the wellbeing, development, and success of our staff.
You will be supporting a young man in his 20’s with complex physical and learning disabilities, who is fully dependent on others for all aspects of his care. He is non-verbal and communicates through simple closed-question choices, so you’ll need to be patient, engaging, and confident building meaningful connections without relying on speech. He enjoys music, fun interactions, and being around people close to his age, and responds best to Support Workers who take time to understand his preferences and encourage independence through choice-making.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead by example in delivering safe, compassionate, person-centered care. Alongside supporting personal care, manual handling, PEG feeding, epilepsy monitoring, communication through closed-question choices, and meaningful daily activities, you will take responsibility for safeguarding oversight, care plan and medication audits, and maintaining high standards of documentation and practice. You will provide supervisions, mentoring, and competency checks for Support Workers. Strong communication with families and professionals is essential, as you help create a consistent, joyful, and empowering environment that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. Diversity strengthens our team, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults with care and support needs and expect all staff to uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
