About The Role

Senior Support Worker
Location: Ty George, Bridgend
Salary: £12.80 to £13.70 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Employment Type: Full time

Job Overview:
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading a team that provides care to children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. This position is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership role in a supportive, child-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead shifts and ensure service standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to assessments, reviews, and development of care plans.
  • Help create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
  • Promote positive experiences and team achievements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a support role (ideally with children).
  • QCF or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • Driving License.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations and safeguarding.
  • Ability to carry out Health and Safety risk assessments.
  • Enhanced DBS with barred list check required.
