Job summary

CareTech in Watford is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a team at Mildred Avenue, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care and help individuals build daily living skills in a supported living environment.

Role requires rota-based hours, a Level 3 Diploma progression, enhanced DBS and commitment to high standards. Training and progression opportunities are offered within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Ability to lead a team within a care environment and manage rota-based shifts.
Enhanced DBS is required and paid for by CareTech.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers with day-to-day direction.
Deliver and oversee high-quality, person-centred support and follow care plans.
Coordinate activities and community engagement for those supported.
Maintain accurate records, incident reports and reviews.
Participate in Senior On-Call rota to respond to needs.
