Job summary

Voyage Care in Hull is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our residential service. You will lead a compassionate team, supervise day-to-day shifts, and help people gain more independence while supporting with daily routines and finances.

We offer competitive hourly rates (£15.13–£16.63) and a range of benefits, including enhanced evening/weekend pay, overtime premiums, and wellbeing discounts. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker (required).
• Experience with individuals needing enhanced support (e.g., mental health, autism, brain injury).
• DBS checks and references will be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential service and assist with day-to-day supervision and management.
• Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, supervise and order medication.
• Help people gain independence and manage finances while maintaining person-centered care.
