Support Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Support Engineer to join our dynamic digital transformation consulting firm. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and performance of our clients' systems. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and maintain the performance of client systems using monitoring tools.
2. Provide expert support and troubleshooting for Java 8 applications.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital transformation solutions.
4. Develop and implement monitoring strategies using Grafana and Kibana.
5. Utilize fundamental tools and languages such as SQL, Unix, CLI tools, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, HTML, and CSS.
6. Work with external and embedded databases, including relational and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, MySQL, Flink, Cassandra, SQL Server, and Postgres. Develop schemas to support business logic and data.
7. Experience working across production and non-production instances of services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with monitoring tools, specifically Grafana and Kibana.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8.
• Strong proficiency in Azure stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
