Scope Of The Role
itsu [grocery] is looking for a senior supply network planner to join its growing supply chain team. They will manage the movement of products from our suppliers & manufacturers across Asia, Europe & the UK to our warehouses in the UK & Europe. They should be analytical, detailed and have a passion for efficiency.
- Plan the inbound supply chain of one or more product categories to maintain target stock levels, maximise our service to customers & minimise waste.
- Manage a reportee(s) ensuring they are supported in their role and facilitating their growth and development.
- Build strong relationships with our suppliers to mitigate issues and smooth changeover between products & artwork.
- Work with co-manufacturers to improve our service while ensuring efficiency of manufacture & controlling costs.
- Collaborate internally with demand planning, customer service & the rest of the supply planning team.
- Assist in the stock reconciliation process at month end to ensure all stock is accounted for.
- Analyse supplier performance – managing costs & negotiating where relevant.
