Senior Supply Planner

Overview

L'Oréal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Supply Planner to lead and develop the supply chain process. This pivotal role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing team, driving improvements in service level, stock quality, transportation, and contributing to the overall success of the division.

A Day in the Life

A typical day involves managing diverse responsibilities to ensure smooth operation of an extensive portfolio. Tasks include:

1. Reviewing stock levels and identifying deviations from inventory targets.
2. Assessing risks related to out-of-stock situations.
3. Minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
4. Investigating root causes of issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
5. Collaborating on yearly budget submissions.
6. Communicating KPIs and gap analyses to stakeholders.

This role requires strategic decision-making, a deep understanding of supply chain processes, and leadership skills to inspire a team of four Supply Planners.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in demand planning or similar roles, preferably with S&OP experience.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of supply planning processes.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience is a plus.
• Passion for the beauty industry and alignment with L'Oréal's values.
