Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support quality assurance across the Hinkley Point C project. The role combines supplier quality management with site visits and cross-functional collaboration in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Key duties include audits, supplier development, and corrective actions to ensure conformity with CQAPs/ITPs. Hybrid working and long-term career prospects are offered on a major infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor qualification is required.
• Experience in Supplier Quality, QA or QE.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and closing audit findings.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, inspection and quality control processes.
• Experience managing supplier performance and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and CI methodologies.
• Ability to work with suppliers and multiple project stakeholders.
• Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, assess and approve suppliers against project quality requirements.
• Conduct supplier audits and monitor supplier compliance.
• Manage supplier performance and support improvement plans.
• Investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Support supplier down-selection through PQQ and tender evaluations.
• Review CQAPs and ITPs and manufacturing quality documentation.
• Support source inspection and manufacturing surveillance activities.
• Participate in supplier kick-off meetings and quality reviews.
• Collaborate with project teams to mitigate quality risks across the supply chain.
