Job description

Senior Supervisor
40000 - 50000 + Electric Car or Allowance
Corby

We do what we say...
At Clancy, our people lead with integrity and accountability, ensuring we deliver on our promises, first time-every time.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Supervisor to lead the operational delivery of wastewater construction works across our Anglian Water framework. Based primarily in the office, this role is all about running a tight ship with compliance, safety and team performance at the core.

You'll lead a team of four supervisors and an administrator, with overall responsibility for a 25-strong mix of directly employed and contract delivery staff. Your role is to ensure our field teams understand the why behind our processes, embedding a culture of care, compliance, and continuous improvement across everything we do.

Here are some of the activities that you'll get involved with

  • Driving safe, compliant and efficient project delivery, from Gravity Sewers to Rising Mains.
  • Ensuring full health, safety, quality and environmental compliance across multiple projects.
  • Coaching and mentoring supervisors and site teams to uphold best practice.
  • Acting as the lead operational contact for client, consultant, and local authority queries.
  • Championing emerging construction technology as part of smarter delivery.
  • Ensuring site documentation, audits, and permits are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Coordinating schedules, resource plans, and delivery expectations with engineers and planners.

We would love to hear from you, if you can demonstrate

Above all, we're looking for a people-first leader, someone who can take responsibility for a large, dispersed team and keep them engaged, compliant and performing to a high standard.

Strong leadership skills, ideally managing supervisors and operational staff.

A proven track record of ensuring compliance across safety, environment and quality.

Confident using digital tools and open to emerging tech (e.g. drones, site analytics).

Construction / Civil Engineering experience is preferred, but not essential if you have relevant transferable skills.
