Job summary

Lindner Prater Ltd is recruiting a Commercial Manager to lead subcontract procurement on the Old Oak Common project. The role is site office based and requires robust NEC contract knowledge and proven delivery on complex packages.

You will act as the main contact for subcontract processes, manage tender and CV records, and work with senior managers to place contracts within programme deadlines. Candidates should have a construction background with MRICS/MCIOB preferred, strong negotiation

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Robust experience as a Commercial Manager with extensive sub contract procurement experience within the construction industry.
• Outstanding knowledge of NEC Contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for subcontract procurement and compliance.
• Manage and update the Subcontract Tender Events Schedule and ensure timely client delivery.
• Maintain the Record of Tenders and ensure timely client communication.
• Coordinate with senior management on the Subsubcontract recommendation process and ensure contract/compliance awareness.
• Regularly review the procurement plan to meet deadlines and apply correct contract types.
• Identify opportunities to improve project and company procurement and recommendation procedures.
• Have detailed working knowledge of the NEC subcontract form and Old Oak Common documentation.
• Collaborate with commercial, operation and design teams to ensure documentation is included in subcontract orders.
