Job summary

Egis Group in Leatherhead, UK, is seeking a Senior Asset Engineer to support the Structures & Dartford Asset Management Team managing the M25 structures portfolio. The role focuses on developing short, medium and long-term asset management objectives to minimise whole life cost while meeting contract performance.

You will lead a small team, develop risk-based inspection and renewal strategies, and balance routine maintenance with renewal needs to ensure asset objectives are achieved within

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structures, Tunnels or related subject
• Working towards Professional Qualification (MICE/MIAM/MIStructE) or similar
• Knowledge of highway bridge asset management and inspection/maintenance activities
• Experience in risk identification and management for civils infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of Asset Engineers focused on Structures and Dartford Crossing Infrastructure
• Develop risk-based strategies for inspection, maintenance and renewal work
• Develop and implement asset management and renewal strategies for all structure categories
• Review inspection reports and identify essential maintenance requirements
