Senior Asset Engineer – Structures & Tunnels (M25)

Job summary

Egis is delivering iconic UK projects, including the M25 Dartford Crossing portfolio. We seek a Senior Asset Engineer to manage a large structures asset base, develop long-term strategies and lead maintenance and renewal planning to minimise whole-life costs.

You will guide a team, collaborate across asset and maintenance interfaces, and ensure compliance with contract requirements while driving value-based decisions in a critical network context.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional qualification track (MICE/MIStructE) encouraged.
• Knowledge of highway bridge asset management and bridge maintenance.
• Experience with risk identification and management for civils infrastructure.
• Experience in structures/tunnel construction and renewal is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Asset Engineers focused on Structures and Dartford Crossing Infrastructure.
• Develop value-led technical decision-making for long-term asset management.
• Lead risk-based strategies for inspection, maintenance and renewal.
• Coordinate asset management plans for bridges, tunnels and related structures.
