Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Structural Technician for its Building Structures team, based in Liverpool (Speke) or Norwich (Wymondham). The role involves delivering coordinated structural engineering solutions and producing/showing high-quality drawings and models.

You will visit sites for surveys, assist in inspections, and participate in meetings with Kier, consultants and clients in a collaborative, inclusive environment. 40 hours weekly with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Holding a Bachelor's level degree in construction related discipline or HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Demonstrable experience using REVIT, Navisworks and AutoCAD for building structures models and drawings.
• Experience in reinforced concrete detailing and scheduling to European/British Standards.

Responsibilities

• Producing and checking coordinated building structures drawings, design models, schedules and specifications.
• Checking and coordinating structural design information with other technical disciplines.
• Visiting sites to carry out surveys and inspections.
• Attending meetings at Kier, consultant and client offices.
• Promoting wellbeing and an inclusive workplace.
