Job summary

Vincera Consulting Ltd in Leicester is seeking a Senior Structural Technician to join a well-established engineering consultancy with Midlands offices. You will produce complex drawings across Civil/Structural/Conservation projects and develop BIM models.

You will interpret engineers' sketches, prepare detailed construction drawings, check outputs for standards, and mentor CAD technicians while coordinating with the Head of Technical. Strong experience with Revit and AutoCAD is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as Structural Technician or Senior role.
• Experience producing high quality concept, preliminary and detailed drawings.
• Good experience of drawing using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Produce complex drawings independently across Civil / Structural/ Conservation project types.
• Develop, coordinate, and manage BIM models across a range of project types
• Interpret Engineers' sketches and calculations to produce detailed construction drawings.
• Check and review CAD Technician output for accuracy and compliance with Client drawing standards.
• Maintain and develop drawing templates and standard detail library in coordination with the Head of Technical
• Manage drawing register and document control on allocated projects.
• Coordinate with Engineers on design intent and detail resolution
• Provides guidance and day-to-day supervision of CAD Technicians

A new role for a Senior Structural Technician has arisen in Leicester. This role is based within a well established Engineering Consultancy who have multiple offices across the Midlands.

My Client can offer projects that arevery diverse and generally challenging, incorporating bespoke new builds, refurbishment projects and heritage based work.This high performing team of professionals are looking for adiligent individual who can produce all relevant drawings for Structural Engineering projects. Therefore applicants will possess a good background as a structural technician and have developed skills from workingacross a variety of projects.

ROLE

• Produce complex drawings independently acrossCivil / Structural/ Conservationproject types.
