Senior Structural Sub Agent - Major Civil (HS2)

Zusammenfassung

Carmichael UK is recruiting an experienced Sub Agent with structures expertise to join a major section of the HS2 project in the Aylesbury area. This role focuses on delivering complex structural packages safely, on time and within budget, in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead site teams, coordinate with design and commercial teams, and ensure quality and safety standards are met while managing multiple subcontractors and reporting progress.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or Section Engineer on major civil engineering projects.
• Experience delivering structures packages including bridges, reinforced concrete, viaducts or retaining walls.
• Experience with a Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure project.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance, temporary works and construction methodology.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• SMSTS and CSCS required.

Aufgaben

• Managing the safe and efficient delivery of structural works packages.
• Leading site teams including Section Engineers, Site Engineers and subcontractors.
• Planning works and ensuring delivery to programme and budget requirements.
• Reviewing and approving RAMS, ITPs, permits and quality documentation.
• Coordinating with design, commercial and construction teams.
• Monitoring progress and resolving technical or construction challenges.
• Driving high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Managing subcontractors and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships.
• Supporting reporting, forecasting and programme updates.
