CarmichaelUK invites an experienced Sub Agent to join the HS2 delivery team at Chipping Warden. The role focuses on safe, efficient execution of highways, earthworks and drainage within one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects.

You will support the Project Manager and Site Agent, drive quality, safety and contractual compliance, and coordinate with engineers, planners and stakeholders. Applicants should bring a strong background in highways construction, NEC contract knowledge, and proven

Competenze

• Proven experience as Sub Agent, Site Agent or Section Engineer on major infrastructure or highways projects.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts and quality assurance processes.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Mansioni

• Support the Project Manager and Site Agent in delivering highways and civil engineering works.
• Manage sections of work to meet programme, budget, quality and safety targets.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers and site teams daily.
• Ensure works comply with design specs and contractual requirements.
• Prepare RAMS, ITPs, work package plans and short-term programmes.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigations.
• Promote HS2 health, safety and environmental standards.
