Job summary

Linear Recruitment Ltd in Cambois, Northumberland, seeks an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee the delivery of steel packages on a major data centre scheme, coordinating with client teams, design teams and site personnel.

The role requires strong management of steel fabrication, erection, health & safety and programme controls to meet project milestones. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Project Manager within structural steelwork.
• Experience managing steelwork packages on major data centre projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and interfaces.
• Knowledge of construction programmes, quality control and health & safety.
• SMSTS and CSCS qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the structural steel package from planning through to installation and completion.
• Oversee structural steel contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate steelwork activities with the wider construction programme and other trades.
• Monitor progress, programme, quality and health & safety across the package.
• Liaise with the client, consultants, design teams and other project stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, fabrication details and installation requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, logistical and programme issues.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate project records and progress updates.
• Drive successful delivery of the package in line with milestones.
