Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking a Senior Project Manager in London to oversee structural steel installation projects from planning through to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgets, safety, and client communications.

The role requires over 5 years of PM experience in structural steel/heavy construction, proficiency with planning tools like Primavera P6, and strong leadership to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on site and in workshops.

Qualifications

• London project experience is essential.
• 5+ years as a Project Manager in structural steel, steel erection or heavy construction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
• Knowledge of steel construction methods, materials and site operations.
• Experience with structural drawings, shop drawings and erection plans.
• Experience with planning tools such as Asta Project or Primavera P6.
• Contract administration and financial control coordination with QS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with BIM and Tekla Structures (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the project team across steel installation projects.
• Manage and deliver timelines, milestones and programme deadlines.
• Lead lookahead plans cascaded to project and site teams.
• Oversee modeling and 2D markups for planning.
• Coordinate trades and mobilization in advance.
• Maintain client and engineer communications for project alignment.
• Lead documentation: contracts, schedules, RFIs, change orders.
• Monitor costs, budgets and financial forecasts.
• Lead site meetings and report progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure HSE compliance across all sites and handovers.
