Job summary

Jacobs in the UK is seeking a Senior Associate Director for Bridges & Structures to shape design, assessment and delivery across major infrastructure programmes in the UK and internationally. You will influence safety, resilience and asset performance while guiding engineering teams to deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in bridge or structural engineering within infrastructure, transportation or closely related environment.
• Strong technical design, project leadership or discipline management capability relevant to bridges and structures.
• Experience delivering structural engineering projects through feasibility, tender, preliminary and detailed design, assessment or renewal.
• Ability to communicate technical risks, options and recommendations clearly.
• Experience coordinating with clients, engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support multidisciplinary teams across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with colleagues across the UK, Europe and Jacobs' global delivery network.
• Introduce digital, automated and standardised approaches to improve quality and efficiency.
• Deliver technically robust and sustainable structural solutions and develop engineering capability.
• Build trusted client relationships and influence project delivery decisions.
