Job summary

Team First Recruitment is partnering with a consulting engineering client to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager for the Structural Engineering division in the UK. The role focuses on growing market share, securing high-value commissions, and building long-term client relationships across commercial, residential, industrial and public sectors.

The successful candidate will own BD across the Structural Engineering business, qualify opportunities, and lead tender submissions and

Qualifications

Proven track record in selling structural/civil engineering or technical consultancy services.
Strong ability to develop long-term client relationships and secure high-value commissions.
Experience engaging developers, architects, contractors and project teams through the construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Own business development across the Structural Engineering sector and identify new opportunities.
Lead tender submissions, commercial negotiations and appointment of projects.
Build and mentor a team of 3 sales executives to grow the business.
Develop relationships with senior decision makers and key clients across the UK construction market.
