Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Senior/Associate Structural Engineer to join our Leicester team. You will lead varied projects, from concept through to construction, partnering with architects, developers and contractors to deliver practical structural solutions.

The role requires strong ownership, client relationship skills and the ability to guide team members. A Chartered Engineer status is advantageous, with opportunities for career progression within a respected Midlands consultancy.

Qualifications

• Six years' experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
• Strong background in building structures and materials knowledge.
• Chartership through IStructE or ICE is advantageous.
• Ability to manage projects and communicate with clients effectively.
• Collaborative approach and mentoring of junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception through delivery, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Attend design and progress meetings with architects, developers and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance to the wider structures team.
