Job summary

Airswift seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to provide client-side authority and governance for CSA scopes in Feasibility and Execution phases. You will enforce GTS, PMF, and IDM requirements, coordinating with EPCM contractors and Owner Teams to ensure safe, constructible and decision-ready designs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural discipline.
• Postgraduate specialisation in Civil or Structural (preferred).
• Registered with a UK recognised engineering institute as professional/chartered engineer.
• Minimum 10 years as a registered engineer.
• Experience in mining project engineering (EPCM).
• Knowledge of international and local engineering standards.
• Experience with HAZID/HAZOP processes and leading design reviews.
• Knowledge of IDM/ICBS/PMF frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own CSA engineering completeness, quality, integration, and L1 assurance.
• Act as Owner’s technical authority for CSA disciplines, ensuring safe, constructible, operable design.
• Ensure quality, maturity, and completeness of engineering across FS and Execution.
• Verify contractor deliverables align with GTS, PMF, IDM, and stage-gate requirements.
• Validate readiness for critical decision gates (FS & execution release).
• Lead Owner Level 1 reviews of critical CSA engineering.
• Identify CSA discipline risks and manage changes, interfaces and long-lead items.
• Support Feasibility Study and Execution phase delivery within schedule and budget.
