Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a Chartered status, with proven experience delivering medium to large-scale structures and a strong grasp of materials, construction methods, Tekla and Tedds. You will influence strategy and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Chartered (CEng) or equivalent.
• Significant structural design experience in a multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, materials and construction methods.
• Experience with Tekla and Tedds.
• Excellent communication and client collaboration skills.
• Interest in mentoring and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leading the technical design and delivery of medium and large-scale structural engineering projects.
• Developing innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions across a variety of structural materials and building forms.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of technical quality.
• Building trusted client relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat business and new project wins.
• Mentoring and supporting engineers, sharing technical knowledge and developing team capability.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the UK and international engineering network.
• Contributing to the continued development and growth of the structural engineering team.
