Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer in Hove on the outskirts of Brighton. You will lead structural projects from design through to completion, oversee workloads, and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.

The role combines project delivery with client management and business development, including fee proposals and growth of the client base across UK and international teams.

Qualifications

• Chartered or near-Chartered Structural Engineer with strong technical skills.
• Experience leading projects and guiding engineers and technicians.
• Ability to develop business and manage staff across UK and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from design through to completion.
• Manage workloads and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
• Attend client and project meetings, site visits and design meetings.
• Develop relationships with clients, architects, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Grow the client base across sectors, identify opportunities, prepare fee proposals.
