Job summary

Aldwych Consulting seeks a Project or Senior level Buildings Structural Design Engineer for their Oxford office. The role covers a wide mix of projects, from £200m schemes to local client work, with opportunities to liaise with UK and international clients including schools, developers and manufacturers.

You will join an established Structural & Civil Engineering team, manage projects, mentor juniors, and contribute to technical excellence while embracing hybrid working and CPD support.

Qualifications

• Experience in buildings structural design, including large schemes up to £200m.
• Role requires client facing responsibilities and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and work with internal teams across disciplines.
• Proficient in structural analysis software Tekla, MasterSeries, SCIA and Tedds.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception through to completion for buildings structures.
• Design for concrete, steel, timber and masonry, including refurbishment works.
• Undertake survey and reporting tasks as required.
• Collaborate with internal construction and property specialists and maintain client liaison.
