Job summary

NUVIA in Warrington is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead hands-on analysis and design through the full design process within the Civil & Structural department. The role involves interfacing with other disciplines in the project design team and sharing managerial responsibility for Graduates, Apprentices and Designers.

Reporting to the Principal Engineer, you will prepare design documentation, supply calculations, and contribute to design reviews while meeting deadlines in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience delivering designs through the full design process.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver high quality technical output.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documentation throughout the design process.
• Develop designs to satisfy technical specifications.
• Prepare supporting design calculations to substantiate design.
• Contribute to design reviews.
• Prepare technical specifications and risk assessments.
• Produce technical documentation to comply with safety legislation.
