Job summary

Nuvia – a VINCI construction subsidiary – is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a hybrid, permanent role at Milton Park, Oxfordshire. You will lead hands-on analysis and design within the Civil & Structural department, coordinating with other disciplines and supervising Graduates or Designers as needed.

The role emphasizes design delivery, preparation of calculations and technical documentation, and active participation in design reviews while meeting tight deadlines in a regulated

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the fundamentals of structures and foundations using Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steel.
• Design experience in Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steel.
• Knowledge of structural steel connections and connection types.
• Demonstrable competence gained in a design delivery position.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• A strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of design documentation throughout the design process.
• Development of designs to satisfy technical specifications.
• Prepare supporting design calculations to substantiate design.
• Contribution to design reviews.
