Job summary

Calibre Search in Leeds is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join an employee-owned consultancy. You will lead technical design, take ownership of projects, and work directly with clients while mentoring less experienced engineers.

You'll design in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber on a mix of new-build and refurbishment projects. The firm offers hybrid working, 25 days' leave, private healthcare, a 5% employer pension, and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Strong background in structural design for buildings.
• Experience delivering projects with independence.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Prepare and check calculations, specifications and reports.
• Manage projects and client meetings, budgets and timelines.
• Mentor Graduate or Intermediate Engineers.
