Job summary

Senior Structural Engineer in Leicester required to join a professional consultancy. You will work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial and residential projects, delivering structural design, calculations and reports from inception through to completion.

The ideal candidate is degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering and Chartered, or working towards Chartership with ICE or IStructE, with experience in steel, concrete and masonry design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership with ICE/IStructE.
• Experience in structural design across steel, concrete and masonry.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares calculations and reports for a range of buildings.
• Liaises with clients and collaborates with colleagues to deliver projects.
• Manages own workload with autonomy and delivers projects to deadlines.
• Mentors less experienced engineers where appropriate.
