A Yorkshire independent multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy with an experienced team of dedicated Engineers and Technical support. Involved on a diverse range of Structural and Civil Engineering projects across a broad spectrum of the industry.

Their structural engineering experience includes medical facilities, schools, churches, supermarkets, factories and retail units for national chains and individual retailers.

Their civil engineering experience includes ground modelling, roads and sewers, flood risk assessments, hydro electric schemes, renewable energy schemes and a number of substantial agricultural facilities.

Job Description:

As a Senior Structural Engineer you will be joining a team of Structural / Civil Engineers and Technicians at varying levels of experience.

At any one time you will be responsible for a number of projects, all at different stages simultaneously.

Being an independent Consultancy no project is too small as a 'can do' attitude with their Clients is why this organisation is flourishing.

You will enjoy 'variety' which will mean multi-million pound schemes to small structural alterations crossing over a plethora of sectors and build types.

Person Specification:

You should possess a broad range of engineering skills and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of current codes of practice both British Standards and Euro-codes working in all the main construction materials.

You will be an accomplished user in the latest 3D finite element modelling design software packages in both concrete and steelwork such as CSC Building Designer and RAM Structural system.

An appreciation of AutoCAD is essential and Revit modelling software is also desirable but not essential.
