You will join our Structures Healthcare team

As our new Senior/Principal Structural Engineer, you will be part of a talented, diverse team working on exciting national and international healthcare projects. We encourage design flair and innovative solutions, with multi-disciplinary offices located throughout the UK.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Developing and agreeing on structural concepts and design philosophies
• Inspiring and motivating engineers and technicians on your projects
• Communicating with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings
• Taking ownership as the day-to-day lead on projects or project segments

Your key deliverables over the first 12 months will be:

• Growing and maintaining a network of contacts and acting as a Ramboll ambassador
• Contributing to our Healthcare Structures’ goals, including project excellence, sustainability, digital design, team culture, learning, knowledge sharing, and business development

Your starting point for growth includes:

• Chartered status with IStructE, ICE, or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex engineering concepts clearly
• A proven track record in projects emphasizing design, sustainability, or reuse of assets
• Experience with primary construction materials (steel, concrete, timber) and general building construction knowledge; MMC experience is a plus
• A passion for sustainable solutions
• A multidisciplinary mindset and eagerness to learn about broader building design aspects
• Demonstrable experience with UK healthcare sector projects
• International healthcare project experience is advantageous
