Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Canterbury to help establish and grow our client's new office. The role covers technical delivery, design calculations and packages, client meetings and site visits.

You will support resourcing and development of the Canterbury team as the office expands, working on high-end residential, mixed-use, commercial and life sciences projects. A discretionary annual bonus, flexible working and generous annual leave are on offer as the Canterbury

Our client is launching a new office in Canterbury and is seeking an ambitious Senior Structural Engineer to play a key role in establishing and growing the new team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer who enjoys both technical delivery and the opportunity to help shape a new office. The successful candidate will be involved in project delivery, design calculations, design packages, client meetings and site visits, while also assisting with the resourcing and development of the Canterbury team as the office grows.

The project portfolio is varied, covering high-end residential, mixed-use, commercial, healthcare, arts, industrial and life sciences developments, as well as refurbishment schemes. The role offers the chance to work on interesting and technically challenging projects across a broad range of sectors.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with strong technical capability and the ambition to contribute to the growth of a new office. Previous experience in project management, mentoring or team development would be advantageous.
