Job summary

PD&MS Group is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to join our team in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a full-time, ongoing contract. A flexible hybrid model allows 2 days per week remote work.

The role involves flowline work with brownfield pipe support design, using 2D/3D AutoCAD/Plant 3D and ReCAP point cloud data. We welcome candidates with energy industry experience or transferable skills.

Qualifications

• HND in a relevant subject.
• Experience in detail design and related disciplines.
• Competent with AutoDesk design products (2D/3D).
• Experience using AutoCAD/Plant 3D and ReCAP for point clouds.

Responsibilities

• Create and check engineering designs.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Input to project plans.
• Identify areas of concern during projects.
• Produce cost-effective, safe engineering solutions that add value.
• Address operational and maintenance issues in design and liaise with colleagues for optimal solutions.
• Undertake surveys onshore and offshore (not essential).
