Job summary

PD&MS Group is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to join the team in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a full-time, ongoing contract with a flexible hybrid model allowing 2 days of remote work per week. The role involves flowline work, brownfield pipe support design with bolted connections, using 2D/3D AutoCAD/Plant 3D and ReCAP point cloud data.

The ideal candidate will have energy industry experience or transferable skills, enjoy teamwork, be customer and quality focused, and able to coach others

Qualifications

• Creates and checks engineering designs
• Responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements
• Input to project plans
• Identify areas of concern during any project or study
• Produce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
• Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
• Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore (not essential)
