You will work with clients and professionals to develop designs, perform calculations and ensure compliance with standards and health and safety regulations.

The role involves developing structural design solutions using industry software, reviewing drawings, and preparing tender submissions while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• Proven track record in structural design engineering.
• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and design principles.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural design solutions using industry-standard engineering software.
• Prepare design calculations, apply loadings and analyze stresses and load paths.
• Review construction plans, drawings and specifications with clients and professionals.
• Ensure designs meet legislation, standards and health and safety requirements.
• Prepare technical information and support tender bids.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Provide progress reports to clients and senior management.
• Keep up to date with developments in structural engineering and software.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects within timescales and budgets.
