This position reports to the Deputy Chief Designer & Structure or their designee; it is located in Maranello, Italy. The role involves structural design and analysis of F1 chassis-related components.
University degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or equivalent Engineering, preferably a master’s degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a professional motorsports environment.
Must be able to work efficiently in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment with a methodical approach. Some travel may be required. The role involves office work, supervising component testing, and physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, and manual dexterity. The environment includes machinery, race cars, rigs, debris, and hazardous fluids. Compliance with health and safety policies is mandatory.
