Job Title: Senior Structural Design Engineer

Location: Halifax or Billingham Offices

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 - 10 years' experience in structural steelwork design
• Degree-educated, working towards incorporated or chartered status
• Extensive experience in structural steelwork frame, member, and connection design
• Proficiency in design software including Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer, Masterseries, S-Frame, and Idea Statica
• Ability to produce both manual and software design calculations
• Strong knowledge of British and European design standards/codes

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects independently or collaboratively within the design team
• Work to company QA procedures and design budgets
• Coordinate information with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors
• Attend and conduct project meetings
• Contribute to continuous business improvement
