East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Stroke to join our comprehensive therapy team. You will manage your own caseload autonomously and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered stroke care.

The post involves seven-day working as part of our commitment to a 7-day stroke rehabilitation service, with opportunities to develop postgraduate training, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice

Formación

• Band 7 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist role in Stroke Care.
• Involvement in advanced assessment of stroke patients.
• Development of sound communication networks with other specialists.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day ward leadership for physiotherapy services across Stroke Wards.
• Offer high-quality clinical advice and support to the multi-disciplinary team.
• Help plan, develop, optimise and evaluate the stroke therapy service and processes.
• Establish and develop communication networks with health economy specialists.
• Ensure clinical governance targets are met, including standards, protocols and risk management.
• Develop and deliver postgraduate training relevant to the clinical specialty.
