Job summary
West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking a Workforce Planning Lead to develop and embed strategic workforce planning across the organisation. You will lead forecasting, scenario planning and workforce analytics, translating strategy into a 3–5 year plan with evidence-based recommendations.
You will provide strategic advice to senior leaders and partner teams, building dashboards, governance input and cross-functional collaboration to ensure sustainable workforce decisions for the West
Qualifications
- Significant experience in strategic workforce planning within a complex organisation.
- Advanced capability in modelling, forecasting and scenario planning.
- Experience leading strategic workforce analytics and insight.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and embedding of strategic workforce planning across WMCA.
- Translate strategy and demand into a 3–5 year workforce plan with evidence-based recommendations.
- Lead strategic workforce insight and analytics with effective dashboards and benchmarking.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders and governance forums based on workforce data.
