Job summary

Law Choice Recruitment in London is seeking a Senior Sourcing and Procurement Specialist for a top international law firm. You will partner with stakeholders across the business, lead sourcing projects and drive supplier negotiations to secure the best commercial outcomes.

You will guide sourcing strategy, supplier selection, contract terms and purchasing policy, while helping improve procure-to-pay and supplier management processes.

Qualifications

• Procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management or contract management experience.
• Proven track record of leading supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen: ability to assess pricing structures, proposals, statements of work and contract terms.
• Confidence managing stakeholders across departments and levels of seniority.
• Ability to run several projects at once and work to tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, including presenting.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel) and procure-to-pay software.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing projects, supplier evaluations, RFPs, RFQs and competitive bids for your assigned categories.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement approach, supplier choice, commercial negotiations and best practice.
• Run regular supplier performance reviews and ensure compliance with service levels and contracts.
• Coordinate the contract lifecycle: review intake, scope validation, renewals, amendments and communications.
• Work withLegal, Contracts and Finance to get supplier agreements reviewed, negotiated, signed and administered on time.
• Monitor supplier pricing, invoicing and compliance to match agreed terms.
• Support supplier onboarding, record maintenance and governance in the procurement system.
• Track renewals, milestones and project timelines.
• Produce reporting, spend analysis and supplier recommendations; contribute to process improvements and technology projects.
• Stay updated on market conditions to identify savings and reduce risk.
