Senior Strategic Lead - Property Development

A unique opportunity to shape the commercial and investment strategy of a growing property development business.

We are partnering with an established, privately owned organisation to appoint a Senior Strategic Lead - Property Development. This is a pivotal senior appointment offering the opportunity to influence investment strategy, strengthen commercial capability and help shape the future direction of a national development business.

Combining strategic influence with hands-on commercial involvement, the role will sit at the heart of the development operation, working closely with senior leadership, regional teams and the Board to drive performance, support investment decisions and establish the commercial frameworks required for continued growth.

This is a broad and commercially influential position, encompassing development appraisal, funding, investment strategy, commercial reporting and transactional oversight.

Working closely with Development Directors and Heads of Region, you will provide strategic commercial leadership across projects and portfolios, supporting negotiations, bids, appraisals and key investment decisions. You will play a critical role in assessing viability, challenging assumptions, managing risk and ensuring projects are commercially structured to deliver successful outcomes.

The position will also have a strong external dimension, developing relationships with institutional investors, private sector funders, advisers and intermediaries to support funding strategies and unlock development opportunities.

We are interested in individuals who combine strong commercial judgement with the ability to influence strategically and build capability within a business.

You may currently be operating in a senior development commercial, investment, finance or strategic leadership position, with experience spanning development viability, funding, transactions and commercial performance.
