Job summary

Toolstation Derby is seeking a Senior Store Assistant for a 20-hour week to serve as a friendly face, help customers, and support deliveries and stock management. You’ll be part of a hands-on team, with opportunities to grow within the business and possibly take on greater responsibility.

The role requires a local applicant who can commute easily, with a track record of reliability, a proactive attitude, and willingness to handle early starts and late finishes in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a key holder or supervising team members.
• Retail experience not essential, but helpful.
• Be prepared to deliver strong customer service.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find what they need and assist with deliveries and warehouse tasks.
• Stock shelves and keep the store clean.
• Open and close the store and provide short‑term supervisory cover.
• Promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts to customers.
